Description: Paul Klee (1880-1940-Swiss) “Still Life” - Original Unframed Print (Plate #16) From the 1955 Abrams Art Portfolio. (Published by Art Treasures Of The World, N. Y.). The ‘tipped-on’ image measures 8 1/2”x 7” (photo #11); outermost back mat dimensions measure 14 3/4”x 11”. The original was painted in 1940 as an oil on panel and measured 39 5/8”x 31 1/2”. Signature not discernible due to coloration. Photo #8 shows the bio; (reverse side of previous print). Photo #12 is the reverse side of the print with bio of the ‘cover’ plate in the folio. Photo #9 shows info under the tipped-on print. A small 1/4” indent in the upper right edge (photo #13) is easily remedied by trimming or framing. Would look great matted/framed in chrome or black.
