There is yellowed tape on the top & bottom corners, but I don't see splitting underneath. I see about a 1" split on the top corner, and a slight fraying on the bottom. Possibly the original owner taped it to secure, not repair. Please see pics. The record is in very good condition, no scratches or defects, original Decca paper record sleeve.
