Description: PATRICK CAULFIELD “COACH LAMP” Screenprint 1994 Paper Size: 41” x 30”. Image size 32” x 22” Signed and numbered 18/50 by the Artist Condition report: colour extremely vibrant and bold, no fading throughout. Print in overall good/excellent condition Some minor defects include very slight cracking to black ink on the lamp, only noticeable on very close inspection. Also, tiny white speck stuck to the varnish on green lamp glass, probably occurred during production and one dust speck stuck in the ink to the left of image shadow point. Some extremely minor handling crescents on the paper margins all of which are natural and expected for a print that is 28 years old. Never been framed, and has been well conserved. No foxing or creasing, back of print very clean. Coach Lamp is a screenprint made at the Printmaking Workshop of the Royal College of Art, London. It was published by Waddington Graphics in an edition of fifty with fifteen proofs. The print is signed by the artist and numbered below the lower right corner of the background set in a broad white margin.
