This is the Grosset reprint edition, which would have been published between late 1929 and late 1931, as evidenced by the gift inscription on the ffep. Missing the rare dust jacket. The book itself is in good only condition for its age. Boards and spine edges are bumped and worn, with some fraying to cloth and minor exposure of boards. Small tears in cloth at spine tips. Spine faded. Evidence of dampstaining to rear boards but didn’t soak through to interior of book. Exposed edges of text block a bit dusty with small spots of soiling. Old gift inscription penciled to ffep. I estimate that ten to twenty percent of pages have splatter marks, stains, smudges, etc. Otherwise, pages appears to be relatively clean for a book of this age.
