Description: Up for your consideration is a partial Indian head Cent set. This set is in a Whitman Bookshelf album and contains 47 coins and all of them are, in my opinion VG grade. The Flying Eagles all show at least some feathers in the wings and all of the Indian heads have a couple of letters(or 3-4 partials) in the headband and approximately a quarter(or more) of the feathers in the head dress. This set is missing: 1856, 1864-L, 1866 through 1872, 1877, 1908-S and 1909-S All of the coins are raw. In my humble opinion, a true VG set is the toughest of all grades to assemble. With a little patience most of the coins for a Good set can be found at a reasonable price. Fine and above grades are also available, if you are willing to pay the price. Very Good coins are a much different story. True VG coins are scarce in most dates and well over 75% listed as VG don't show a sign of any letters in the head band or any feathers in the head dress. If your unfamiliar, check the prices for VG Flying Eagles, Copper Nickels and the Sixties or Seventies dates listed above. View the scans and if you have any questions, please ask. Thanks for viewing.
