Description: PARKER 51 VACCUMATIC, PUMP FILLER UNITMade of Aero-Space Aluminum (7075)(All Three sizes, Standard, Medium & Over Size Available)(Pellet Holding Cup is Available, in this shop and sold Separately)(Please let me know the size required, after Buying) After seeing the success of the Lock Down Filler Unit's, many of my friends, asking me for this Parker 51 Filler unit, for the Vaccumatic Pump pens. After the lockdown, due to corona, I became too busy with my job and could not spend enough time, for my Hobby. Most of my friends raise following issues with the original plastic pump filler unit of Parker.Broken Plunger, while using the Pen.Some say about the Pellet holding cup portion of the Plunger got damaged while, removing the same.Some say the spring action got compromised, and the Pen stops Filling.There are several other problems, due to deterioration of the material, caused by humidity and Aging. Keeping, all these Problems in mind, I had made a Pump Filler Unit, which can over come all these Hurdles.The Pump Filler Unit is completely made of Aero-Space Aluminum 7075. Some of the Best properties of the 7075 Aluminum is) It is a light weight material and does not Effect the Critical Balance of the Pen, while writing.) Has very High strength- to -weight Ratio, when compared to other Aluminum Alloys.) Fatigue Resistant.) Stress & Corrosion Resistant.) Cracking Resistant.All these characters provide a Highly durable Pump Filler Unit and i am giving it at a reasonable Price. A part from this, i Had gone for Anodizing the metal, which Improves the Reliability and corrosion Resistance, to the Environmental factors. Anodization : The Aluminum Oxide layer formed during the Anodization, is a very hard layer and is Scratch Resistant. Hence, better wear and corrosion resistance can be Achieved.Aluminum Anodized, has Improved lubricity and reduced Friction. Hence, its ideal for moving parts like, Plunger and the Flange and also for the fitted components like Nut.The Anodization, seals the surface of the Aluminum, Preventing it from the attack of Atmospheric Oxygen and Humidity.Machining of Filler Unit Picture 1) It shows all the 3 filler units, Standard size, Medium Size and the Over Size. Picture 2) It shows the 3 filler units, in vertical position. Picture 3) The Plunger, also called as Push Rod, is turned to a tolerance of 0.2mm, and its the most time taking part for turning. It allows the assembly of the 3 other components, Nut, Spring and Flange. At the Anterior Portion of the Plunger, Slot of 0.4mm is Made, with a tolerance of 20Microns. The spring fits tightly into the slot, and the Plunger is the main moving part in the filler Unit. After turning, it is Hand polished and Anodized to attain the Hardness. Picture 4) The turning of the NUT is very critical job. It requires, 2 different types of threads on a single and Small size component. This component is turned at the tolerance of just 20 Microns. The Anterior Portion of the NUT, screws into the Barrel and the Posterior portion of the same, screws into the Blind Cap, which fits at the back of the pen, covering the Plunger. Picture 5) The Flange is a Small Part, which is Turned with a Precession of 20 Microns in Diameter and also in the Length of the component. It Holds on to the inner Barrel allowing the Plunger move to and fro, to fill the Pen. It has a Tapered anterior Part, which accommodates the Pellet Holding Cup. The straight and small posterior portion of the flange seats into the Nut, whenever the Plunger is pushed inside the Pen. Picture 6) Spring is the Most delicate Part, which is Made by Double twisting. It has thin Anterior End which sits in the Flange and the Posterior end of it is out side the Flange, Preventing the Flange, to slip away. It is made of 304 stainless steel to avoid rusting and prevent it loosing the Extension capability. Picture 7) First the Nut is Mounted on to the Plunger, then the Spring is inserted into the Plunger, through its inner Diameter and it is made to sit in the slot, tightly to prevent it falling off. Assembling of the spring is very Crucial and we do it for our customers while dispatching the Consignment. Picture 8) Then the Flange is Gently Inserted On to the Spring, where the smaller Diameter of the spring, sits inside the Flange and the Larger Diameter of the Spring, stops the Flange from slipping. Picture 9) THE PELLET HOLDING CUP, shown here is Separately sold in my shop. PELLET HOLDING CUP SHOULD BE FIXED TO THE PLUNGER BY APPLYING A LITTLE AMOUNT OF SHELAC. Picture 10) THE PEN SHOWN IS NOT FOR SALE, ITS ONLY USED FOR DEMONSTRATION. The Sac can be placed into Pellet Holding Cup and can be inserted into the Pen, the Nut fits tightly into the Barrel of the Pen and anchors the filler unit. Assembling the Filler Unit Its very Simple. It doesn't take much time. WE DO THE ASSMEBLING OF THE SPRING ON TO THE PLUNGER, WITH THE HELP OF A HYDRALIC PRESS. Never try to Dis-Assemble the Spring from the Plunger, it can Permanently damage the spring or even the Plunger. First, we insert the NUT and then Place the Spring in the Grove of the Plunger and Gently press it in the hydraulic Press and it fits perfectly. Then the Flange is attached to the spring, Loosely. The filler Unit is, shipped to the Buyers in this condition. The Buyer has to just, apply a little Shellac around the Tip of the Plunger, and then insert the Pellet Holding Cup, and press tightly. Once the shellac, is dried and Pellet Holding cup is fitted with the latex sac and the whole filler Unit is ready to be screwed into the Pen Barrel. Clean the Threads of the Pen Barrel, with ammonia to get rid of dried Ink and gently rub the threads with a cotton swab, to remove any debris of the old sac. Once every thing is clean, apply a little amount of Silicon Grease on the thread of the NUT and also on the threads of the Pen Barrel. Now, gently insert the sac inside the Pen Barrel, and start screwing the NUT gently into the Pen. If you find the NUT, very tight in the barrel, remove the filler Unit and start again the Cleaning Process. Never force the NUT into the Pen, cleaning of the Pen Barrel is VERY VERY important. Generally, the Nut Fits into the pen, tightly, without any leaks. The Pen is ready to fill. CONCLUSION Please, don't forget to give a Good Feedback (Rating), most of them are not Giving any Feedback.
