Blind stamped cloth, gilt titling to spine. No dustwrapper. 8vo (8.25" x 5.25") xxxiii ; Part 1 - 464pp ; Part 2 - 419pp ; List of Awards - 46pp ; Appendix - 322pp Fold-out plan of British Section. Numerous engraved illustrations in Appendix section. Exterior shabby, boards are grubby, with bumped corners and some shelf wear. Spine is darkened and has some marks, remains of sticker, wear to foot and some damage to top. Front pastedown has a Cardiff Free Library Reference Dept. bookplate, and reverse of title page has a handwritten catalogue number, but no other library stamps or marks. Edges of text block slightly dusty with some light foxing, top edge has marks near spine, lower edge a little grubby. Interior slightly age-toned and tanned around edges, and has occasional signs of handling, but overall good, clean and tidy. The binding has a little play, but is secure with no loose, detached, or pulled pages.
