Kfz. 171 Early Version WWII German Medium Tank #232 One tone Dark Yellow Germany This famous WWII German Medium Tank known as the Panther was a formidable weapon designed to counteract the Soviet T34 Tank with its daunting sloping armor and superior fire power for protection. Considered one of the best German tank designs of the time, the Panzer was first put into service in 1943 and utilized from the eastern front to the western front until 1945. This model I assembled is painted with realistic battlefield fatigue and weathering effects. Using military factory color specifications, my techniques use various paint washes with rust and oil streaking grime and a final touch using various dry earth and metal like pigments. This 1/35 scale model tank features an adjustable gun turret and barrel. all door hatches and Road wheels and track are static. No interior details.
