Description: Mexican Revolution from 1910-1920. The two kings depicted are Pancho Villa and Venustiano Carranza. Figures measure from 4 1/2 " to almost 7", amazing hand carved set on outside of board frame-measures 19 1/2" squared on bottom, 19 1/2" squared on top frame and about 15 3/4" squared on board, see all pictures for details, any questions please ask questions. Classic Chess Set would be a welcome addition to the novice through advance chess player. Certainly an interesting and unique set. What a great gift for someone special ie; yourself :) Great condition for it's age. Please see the high resolution photos I have posted. Wood has some minor scratches and should be refinished to be perfect. Some chess pieces seem to be chipped (see pics.). Ask question before bidding please.
