Description: Pair of hand carved lacquered and painted duck decoys. I think these date to no later than ca. 1970s-80s. I believe they are North American made, but I am not 100% sure. Neither are marked and maybe intended for more decoration versus use. I don't know. Hand carved from a single block of Walnut? wood with painted eyes, beak and tail. The Drake measures 11.75" L x 4" W x 4" H and the Hen is 12" L x 3.75" W x 4" H. Some small scrapes and nicks to the wood and finish/paint. Also fine crazing to the painted features.
