Description: Pair Of Two Vintage Hummingbird And Flower Paintings Signed And Wood Framed 11” 11” x just under 9 1/2” x 7/8” each 2 lbs 6.2 oz Pair of 2 lovely hand crafted pieces of art framed in wooden gold toned frames with glass fronts. These depict hummingbirds hovering near flowers (gladiolas and hyacinth). The colors are soft and pastel toned and in harmony with the delicate nature of tiny hummingbirds hovering midair. I thought these might be colored or watercolor pencil but then when looking zoomed in I wonder if they aren't just meticulous watercolors. Either way they are skillfully done. The signature reads "Carmel Foret 1988". I can't be totally sure on that name, it's what it reads to me. There is a small chip on the front face of one of the frames and there is some marking and wear on the frames in general. Please see the pictures for condition detail.
