Description: For sale are a pair of vintage Lefton ceramic planters, each featuring a rooster holding a hat, dressed in a suit with brown trousers, a black vest, green bow tie and black cane. It was made in Japan between 1946-53, as indicated by their faded foil labels that say "Lefton's Exclusives Japan". Each rooster stands 6 3/4 inches high, 6 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide. Their base is 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. They are in Used Condition, still glossy and bright with minor paint loss on their red combs and their black vests. They both have crazing with very small chips, but without any cracks or repairs. There is no original box, but it will be carefully shipped in bubble wrap, inside a corrugated cardboard box.
