Description: An early pair of bronze mounted crystal perfume bottles. Size about 6.5 CM wide by 12.3 cm high. 19th century. Views of Paris on sides, lions with paws on globes on on hinged lids. The lions represent the British defeat of Napoleon by Wellington. These will need some reconditioning as there is a pink powder that is behind some of the bronze and paintings. The paintings also have this pink powder between the painting and glass covers. It is possible that someone with knowledge and skill could remove the mounts, open the backs of the paintings and clear the powder to reveal a better view of the paintings. The crystal is in good shape. Provenance: These perfume bottles came from the estate of Theodora Hamm (Pinkie) Lang, one of the Hamm's twins from the famous St. Paul brewery. Theodore Hamm was Pinkie's grandfather. Theodora and her twin sister Marie traveled the world together and brought back many treasures. The Hamm twins lived to 100 plus years of age.
