The following is a response to a question that I received about these lamps: Hi, Thanks for the questions. 1) Yes, the wall brackets fit very snuggly, so no play there. 2) The screw closest to the shade can be tightened slightly which holds the shade in the tilted position. The other screw needs no adjustment at this time to allow the shade to swivel.This being said, none of this is a very true test because the lamps are not anchored to the wall. They seem very top heavy, so it would be the buyer's issue to understand how these should be mounted. Once mounted, then the adjustments shown above would have to be repeated.
