Could be very old... they look like they may have been converted to electric because the electric cord comes directly from the socket instead of the base. The plastic/resin base may have been added later and does have a spot for a cord to come out - not sure. They're etched cranberry glass with a grapes, vine and leaves design. Very beautiful!
