Description: Pair of Pink Luster Soft Paste Porcelain Tea Cups & Saucers Circa 1830s - 1840s Pretty pair of British soft paste porcelain / bone china pink luster floral tea cups and saucers. Circa 1830s to 1840s. The cups and saucers have usage wear consistent with age. One of the cups has a 1 3/8" tight crack extending off the lip next to the handle. There is also a 1 7/8" tight crack through the base of the cup. Also has a hairline crack through the inside of the handle. The other cup has a very small chip to the bottom of the handle. It also has a 7/8" tight crack on the side of the cup and staining of the type that may soak out. The saucers have some wear to the pink luster, but are in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Each cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. Each saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
