Description: Pair of Antique American Hooked Area Rugs Floral and Leaf Designs 70 x 108, 39 x 68 Rare 1890s A rare matching pair of hand crafted antique American hooked area rugs featuring floral and leaf designs on a gray variegated stripe background. Dates back to the 1890s era. The larger area rug is 70 inches by 108 inches. The medium size area rug is 39 inches by 68 inches. There are a few issues with both of the rugs. They do have corner edges that are missing, some stains, some separations from the red jute in certain areas. The larger rug has a small hole in the middle that is one inch by one inch. Hence, selling as is. Still in very nice condition after all these years. In depth and intricate details of oak leaves, Canterbury bell flowers and tulips.
