Pair Gorham Sterling Silver 3-Lite Adjustable Candlesticks, Candelabra, Weighted

Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely pair of Gorham Sterling Silver candlesticks or candelabra, pattern # 669. The candlesticks are nice and tall with wide 3-lite styling. The top curving arms are made to be removed to convert the candlestick to a single candleholder. The candlesticks have a wide bobeche below the two outer candle cups to catch drips. These nice candlesticks have an impressive size and a beautiful shape. Marked on base "Gorham, Sterling, Cemented, Reinforced with Rod, 669". Measure 14 3/4" high (to top of candle cups), 10 1/4" high (to top of single stem), 13 1/4" wide with a 4 1/2" diameter base. Weigh 1139 grams each with a combined weight of 2278 grams or 5 pounds. Both candlesticks are in very good to excellent Estate condition with the only noted flaw being that the removeable tops are together very tightly and we were not able to remove them otherwise they reflect only minor signs of normal wear. There is some candle residue in the candle cups and although they are presentable at shown, they would benefit from a good polishing.
