Description: Offered here is a vintage pair of solid bronze dog bookends that appear to be spaniels or pekingnese. The playful detail of the figures is wonderful. These great pieces have a beautiful patina and weigh about 2-1/2 pounds each. Each of the bookends measure about 6 inches long & 5 inches tall. I cannot accurately date them, but I believe they are pre-1930, but judge for yourself. The fourth image shows the solid bronze mark on the rear of the bookends. Condition is excellent!
