Description: Pair of Antique Elaborate Hand-painted with Gilt Tea Cups London Handles + Saucers c1830 These English cups and saucers are intricately painted and adorned with gold gilt, all which are in excellent antique condition (very slight gilt loss). I see two spots on one cup where blue paint is visible as a smudge and have documented these spots in the photos. Having owned these for years I only now aware of them. They are not noticeable. Also, I spot two small hairline cracks at the lip of a cup (approximately 1/4” each). Again not noticeable and only surface (not penetrating the body of the cup). Overall, they are in great condition for being two hundred years old. They are unmarked as to the maker other than the painted numbers as shown in the photos: 2/623. This is an antique item, close to two hundred years old. Do not expect it to be pristine. It is in good antique condition. The photos provide the best description.
