Description: Listed for sale is an exceptionally rare pair of Herman Miller Eames DAX chairs. The shells are rare rope edge examples from circa 1952 with original zenith plastics labels. The chairs are in very nice vintage condition with some light wear from use. The chairs have original X bases with oversized shock mounts. They also have original Domes Of Silence glides and solid metal bases. The rope edge can best be seen from the photo of the whole chair shown from the underside. The price listed includes both chairs. Measurements are: 31.25 inches tall by 25 inches wide and 23.5 inches deep.
