Description: From my collection: Artisan crafted American Folk Art: Delightful vintage pair of 18-inch cloth brother and sister in matching black and tan plaid old-time outfits. Made of muslin, they have wonderful painted faces and great detailed fingers sewn on their hand. Each is signed on their back by the artist who made them, "Carole Hart, 1989." There are no flaws to report except the waist elastic in the clothing has lost much of its elasticity from age. They remind me of the painted faces of early Gail Wilson cloth dolls and Karin Heller cloth dolls, only they are not stockinette faces. They are cute sitting on a bench together. No returns, please, unless I have somehow misrepresented them in my description. Thank you.
