To me, this appears as if it was done by someone who made it to wear it, not for the tourist trade. I can find no makers marks of any kind. I have had many pieces of Pacific Northwest items over the years and this is the first of it's kind I have ever owned. This is potentially a museum piece.The piece was almost solid black with heavy tarnish when I first got it. I spent quite a bit of time painstakingly removing the tarnish while preserving the black in the recesses to allow the etching to come through and be well visible. In its current configuration the inside of the bracelet measures 2 7/8" by 2 1/2". The circumference of the bracelet in its current configuration is 8 3/8" including the gap. The bracelet can easily be manipulated to make it smaller or larger. The bracelet is 1 5/8" ( 43mm ), at its widest. It is not hallmarked, but has been tested, and verified weighing in at 39.9 grams.
