Description: A really beautiful vintage 19th/ VERY early 20th century axe of the type made in Pa. by the pennsylvania dutch. It is marked in a circle and partially readable - "GUSSTAV..... - can't read the bottom part (my eyes are just too old!). It also has "480" printed above the other mark. The handle is CANTED and looks to be very old, possibly original. No apologies - a gorgeous piece in FINE condition.
