Description: This is a beautiful vintage piece of limited edition art by Anna Perenna that was designed by P Buckley Moss. Numbered 4900 out of 5000, this ornament features an Amish couple in their horse drawn carriage crossing through a covered bridge. It is entitled "The Bridge at Long Grove" or "The Bridge at Longrove". The back side features the Malcolm Henderson poem "Built of wood of ancient year that folks apart may meet To celebrate with Christmas Cheer And Worship At Christ's Feet". It is signed and dated with the artists initials and '97. As noted on the ornament, it is made of Bavarian Hardpaste Porcelain. This round ornament measures approximately 3 3/8 inches and comes with a gold twisted string attached for easy hanging. It comes as shown with a faux wood display easel that has gold lettering on the front "The Bridge at Long Grove". The easel stands approximately 6 inches tall and is about 2 3/4 inches long. It has a groove that allows the ornament to rest securely. Ornament and stand are both in good vintage pre-owned condition. Neither the original box nor the Certificate of Authenticity are included.
