Description: This item includes an antenna and a matched 16 ft long extension cable assembly. The antenna is Celluteq's CE0622-15, 2.4GHz Outdoor Omni-directional Antenna. It is a high gain, 15dBi, and high performance WiFi antenna for outdoor applications. This antenna can be connected to an 802.11b/g/N wireless access point/router or any other 2.4GHz wireless devices. With 15dBi gain, it can greatly increase wireless coverage range. Its omni-directional radiation pattern is particularly ideal for point to multipoint applications. The CE0622-15 is constructed of UV stable fiberglass with aluminum mounting tube, and it is rugged, lightweight and weatherproof. A set of hardware for pole (up to 1.5” diameter) mounting is included (see the second photo for detail). The extension cable assembly has a type-N connector that is matched to the antenna connector. The other side of the cable has an RPSMA connector. The cable has low loss (at 16ft long its loss is only 3dB) and excellent mechanical strength. Custom cable length is also available. Note: It is generally not recommended to compare the performance of this outdoor antenna with the built-in antennas of the wireless device by placing them at the same location. This is because the most significant advantage of an outdoor antenna over the built-in antennas is that it allows users the flexibility to select the best antenna location, which is often outside a building.
