Description: this is an absolutely wonderful vintage hollywood item. it’s a very large, paper doll set featuring the legendary OUR GANG characters. 1931. ONLY set we’ve ever seen! whitman publishing company. designed by queen holden. the outfits are unused/uncut. the dolls are - farina, allen hoskins.stymie, matthew beardfatty, joe cobbjean darlingmary ann jacksonwheezer, bobby hutchins. marianne, marianne edwardspete the pup. measures 9.75”x 17.25.” very nice condition, esp when considering their age, fragile nature. vibrant coloring. there is wear/damage such as -the paper dolls are held in place on the covers via tape on the inside covers. 1 of the covers has a lot of staining - goes onto 2 of the dolls/background/verbiage. some of the cardboard paper is missing near the farinia doll. edge wear. there is some damage, but the set is nearly impossible to find in any condition. fabulous early hollywood paper doll set.
