Description: This is an amazing agatized petrified Wyoming Eocene wood tree trunk specimen with both end faces polished and both of the polished faces each have a small agate filled cavity with preserved Ostracods showing which are more visible with the help of a magnification loop and it was collected in the early 1990's from the Green River formation from the ancient now extinct Lake Gosiute in the Eden Valley area, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. This fossilized Eocene wood tree truck specimen has a great clean outer surface with sweet wood texture and can be displayed standing upright on either end however, it does look better with the slightly angled face up in my opinion and also can be shown on it's side. This amazing specimen has a lot going for it and it measures 6 inches long by 2.84 inches wide and weighs 2 pounds 7 ounces.
