This comes in the original presentation box with original tag and ribbon. Appears unused, excellent condition. No faults noted. The dovetail wooden box with sliding cover is 6“ x 7“ x 5” "Inspired by the intricate beauty of Fabergé eggs, this mouth blown glass ornament showcases one of the most celebrated gardens in the world: the orangery garden at the palace of Versailles near Paris. Built for King Louis the XIV, the 17th century garden was fashioned from hundreds of potted orange and palm trees, arranged in an elaborate geometric design outside the palace‘s massive stone greenhouse, or orangery. To survive Versailles' cold winter, these exotic species were moved into the cathedral like orangery until the weather warmed when they were returned to the garden and reassembled for the king‘s pleasure.
