Description: WWII Japanese Nambu T14 Type IX Rubberized Canvas HolsterDescription: Nice WWII Japanese Type 14 rubberized canvas holster known as a "clam shell” holster. The holster is made of stiff rubberized canvas with an outer border of leather and a leather closure tab. This exact style is known as the Type IX with the interior ammunition pocket and striker pouch made of rubberized canvas. The entire body of the holster is stiff as it should be. You would be hard pressed to find a supple example due to the materials used for these holsters. There are a few pushes to the outer flap or cover along with some wear to the leather border on the right size. The inside is nice and has the striker pouch and ammunition pouch which held two boxes of ammunition. The back of the holster has a little wear on the right side where the leather border wraps around. All stitching is tight including the toe plug with some light fraying. All three springs are still attached to the closure loop. One is loose on the bottom and the leather wrapper is gone. A nice WWII example that would complement any T14 semi-automatic Nambu pistol.
