The items I will be selling from this point on are being sold from my estate and from the estates of friends and relatives. This Original WWII 1945 dated US Capture Paper was acquired from a Vet estate. This WWII US 1945 dated Capture Paper accompanied two captured items brought back to the United States by a US Veteran (see photos). It is somewhat unique due to size & configuration (see photos). It was printed to accompany items being carried personally to the US according to wording near the lower left corner (see photos). The paper is made out to Pfc. Raymond E. Labar Serial #36181990 and lists the items as: 1 .38 Cal Pistol #65988 and 1 Zeiss Camera (see photos). The paper are is dated September 11, 1945 and was signed by 1st Lt. Charles T. Hickmann, 315th Infantry (see photos). The paper remains solid overall but has age toning and some folds (see photos). The paper measures approximately 4.25 x 6 inches (see photos). This is a nice original WWII US Capture Paper that would be excellent for display with a homefront or period bringback collection. This .38 Cal pistol is somewhere here in the states. Only one of this type form I have come across.
