Description: This is an original WW2 M1 Helmet and Liner! REAR SEAM SWIVEL BALE! Helmet is front seam with swivel bales, manufactured by MCCORD RADIATOR COMPANY, STAMPED 1251F! Helmet is in great shape. Free from cracks, corrosion or rust. Has small dents, and wear from use. STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL CORK FINISH AND OD T-1 CHIN STRAP! Liner was made from laminated cotton duck, the liner featured; khaki HBT suspension webbing that could be adjusted to hold the liner at the right height on the wearer's head, neck strap and adjustable neck band that was designed to prevent the helmet from pitching forward, leather lined headband that could be adjusted to the wearer's head size and leather chin strap. MANUFACTUTRED BY WESTING HOUSE CAPAC (DATED 1952)!Helmet liner is in fine shape. Has stains, paint loss, wear, one rear crack and crrosion from use and prolonged storage. Nape strap has one eyelet that has pulled out (see photos). COMPLETE! HAS 2ND ARMY CORPS DECALS! HELMET SET SOLD AS IS!
