Previous owner's name is inscribed on the inside front cover as "L.G. Luscombe, Hill St, Pittsworth". Sergeant #596 Leslie George Luscombe served in C Company in the 42nd Battalion. He enlisted on 23/11/15 at Pittsworth, Qld. and returned to Australia on 22/7/19. Rare to have a unit history in such good condition with such good provenance like this.
