In Czechoslovakia, competition for the title of BSP was fully developed only in the times of normalization (after 1968).According to the terminology of the time, the BSP movement was “the highest form of socialist competition. Fulfilling demanding tasks in socialist construction, improving social relations in production and raising the cultural level of workers. It also helped with the intensification of the national economy, the development of science, technology, quality and efficiency of work, and motivated members to work with even more effective forms and methods of work for society." In 1984, 200,000 collectives were involved in this movement, in which more than 2.7 million workers worked. The workers in individual workshops (offices) were a collective statement that competed for the proud title of the Socialist Labor Brigade. Then there was an evaluation, which was very formal. In 1-2 years, this workshop was announced as a collective, bearing the proud name of the Socialist Labor Brigade. At the same time, she became the holder of a bronze badge. Then the workshops competed for a silver and a gold badge. Everything took place in the form of small benefits for the members of the brigades. Sometimes with a higher salary, sometimes with better opportunities to use the company's recreational facilities (Wiki).
