Description: This piece of art came out of an estate of an Art Teacher that lived and taught in the Ft Worth area. The art was done by school kids in the 40's - 70's,...some are well done, some are not,...but all are interesting that is for sure. Funny enough the most interesting to me are the ones that the subject matter is mundane or commonplace to the artist at that moment. It is a moment frozen in time through the eyes of a child. These children artist's are your Grandparents now!I have had these for quite sometime now. If these are interesting to you to, please show your interest!By buying, or sharing or starting an conversation about these. This piece is signed All measurements are approximate. Please look at the pictures carefully for condition. Most pieces have some damage, tack hole, folded corners, foxing. Please feel free to ask questions! These could be used in scrapbooking, collage, decoupage, visual aids, genealogy, frame them and hang on the wall, ect., your imagination is the only limit. I know more about this person's Art Teacher than I do about them,....so here's what I know. Eulalie Hunt Allen 1919-1989 was a very talented artist. She attended the College of Industrial Art in Denton, (Texas Women's University) where she studied under Coreen Spellman.. She graduated on June 1st,1940, and on June 2nd she married Edward S. Allen. Later she became an art teacher at William James Jr. High, and at Amon Carter-Riverside High School. Eulalie was a member of the Texas Art Association, and did several exhibition and conferences with them. I sold several of Eulalie's pieces to David Lackey Antiques and Fine Art, several pieces were sold at auction, where James Baker from Texas A & M (Art History) bought a piece of her work. Email me with any questions. Texas residents pay sales tax.
