Description: This original vintage exhibition poster by Sophie Taeuber-Arp is a true gem from the 60s. I think it’s a Screenprint, but not sure if it’s a litho or Screenprint, the way the ink lays on the paper feels screenprint, can’t verify since there’s not a lot of info about it online As for flaws: there’s a few minor blemishes, but overall this has been in a folder under my mom’s bed since the 90s. She gave it to me since I love abstract art, but I never got around to framing it, so it stayed there. Which is great because no sun damage or wrinkles / ripples in the paper. The paper is thin, it is delicate, so with care the minor blemishes could possibly be worked on, but that would have to be done by a professional and too high risk, since they are so minor, I photographed them, top left and bottom right. This is 100% original, not one of those weird Etsy reproductions. My mom bought it at an estate sale in south Florida decades ago, and it was vintage when she bought it If you know this artists work, and how valuable it was the to abstract movement, you’ll know how rare it is to find this, in this condition. It’s not a signed work or anything, but there’s lost history on this artist, as she was making art 100 years ago, and some of her exhibitions weren’t even documented. I think there’s only one or two on the market right now and both were folded in half, and treated very poorly — I am open to offers, trades, etc, but please be respectful and message me to discuss, because this is a piece of history I care about! Not just a money making flip ❤️ Disclaimer: I’ll forever envy who buys this! 🤣 I love it so much, but I’m ready to pass it along to the next owner. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a piece of art history
