Description: ORIGINAL U.S. ARMED FORCES KOREAN SERVICE MEDAL AND RIBBON This listing is for a U.S. Armed Forces Korean Service Medal with light blue & white ribbon with simple pin clasp on back. These were awarded for thirty consecutive days of service in Korea between June 27, 1950 and July 27, 1954. The medal features a Korean gateway encircled by inscription KOREAN SERVICE. The opposite side is features the Korean symbol taken from the center of the Korean National flag with inscription UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and a spray of oak and laurel encircling the bottom edge of the design. The piece measures approx. 1-7/8” long and when packed SECURELY for shipping, it weighs 5 ounces.
