Description: Apollo 12 Vintage NASA "Red Number" Color Photo, Image AS12-50-7325: Gulf of Mexico and Yucatan. An original chromogenic 8" x 10" print of a view of the Earth seen from the Apollo 12 spacecraft, primarily of the Gulf of Mexico and Yucatan, on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso. I've identified two issues with this piece: 1) There is slight wrinkling of the photo, which can be seen in the scans provided, 2) there is (what I assume to be) a fingernail mark on the left-hand side of the photo which is on both the front and back but does not pierce the paper. The photo has been placed in a plastic sleeve with a cardboard backer, then into a 8.5" x "11" rigid print protector for shipping. Due to the age of the photo, there is a slight amount of bowing. Any glare/discoloration is a result of the camera and not an issue with the piece itself, unless otherwise stated. We have a large collection of pictures that will be listed over time; a family member worked as JSC for 33 years and accumulated quite a collection of memorabilia while there. A good number of the pictures, we know what they are based on research, however, a lot of them, we do not and that will be disclosed in the description if need be.
