Description: Original Russian Mosin-Nagant rifle carrying slings. Will also fit the M38, M59, M44 and others. These slings are two-point slings, an old design that features two attachment points and utilizes two sling mounts found on the rifle (below the barrel and in the butt stock). When attached, two-point slings allow the shooter to carry a rifle over one shoulder or across the back – freeing the hands and making transport much easier. The slings are made of heavy canvas. They measure approximately 1.5 inches wide and include the original “dog collar-style” leather attachment straps. They come from different years of manufacture and from different factories, thus they have slightly different shades of fabric and leather as well as different colour of hardware. You can see the variations in the pictures. These are original Russian manufacture not recent Chinese, Indian or Bulgarian. All slings have ink markings. As you can see in the picture, the markings will vary. Some are very clear and some are smudged. Most dates are in the early 50s. I can not promise you what one you will get please do not email me asking for a specific one. I will take the next one off the pile and mail it to you. I promise you an original, very serviceable Russian Mosin-Nagant sling. I have taken pictures of several of them so you can see what yours will be selected from. Like the ones pictured, all are in good condition. The slings are from a warehouse and might have some storage wear (hence, listed as 'used') as they were manufactured over 70 years ago.
