Description: Here is a great centerfold illustration from the Oct. 1, 1864 edition of Harper's Weekly magazine that measures approx. 16 1/2" by 23". It has a great depiction of Abraham Lincoln holding the US flag surrounded by Union soldiers fighting in the Civil War. Below are the lyrics to "Rally 'Round The Flag, Boys!" Overall condition is good with a series of 14 pinholes across the horizontal fold from its string binding with some watermarks and stains that are mostly seen in the ample borders which can be cropped or matted out. The water stains look more pronounced in these scanned images which is due to the vagaries of uploading etc. The reverse side has a poem and story excerpts.
