Description: You are purchasing an original Kodachrome 64 slide of NJT Newark City Subway 1946-vintage PCC #1 at the Orange St. grade crossing in Newark, NJ on Wednesday afternoon, August 22, 2001. These PCC cars were purchased used from Minneapolis, MN in 1952. This equipment was retired on August 24, 2001 and replaced by brand-new LRV cars.
