Description: Very attractive copy of what was billed as 'Jerry Lee Lewis and His Pumping Piano,' not only a mammoth hit but also one of Dave Marsh's 1001 Greatest Singles ever made. The song, written by Otis Blackwell, peaked in the Top Ten on scores of record lists - including the Billboard Hot 100, C&W, R&B and UK Singles Chart. The flip side (toned down just a tad), the Roy Orbison-written "Down the Line," also performed well, reaching #51 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart. This very strong VG+ copy has light wear but nothing preventing excellent play on both sides.
