Description: Original scarce FRIGID-APS apple box/apple crate label. From 1940s for apples from Frigid Fruit Company in Yakima, Washington. A really unusual label with a gnome named Frigid with earmuffs and ice on his nose sitting on a big red apple. View shows orchards in green on the left and snow capped hills, mountains, Mt Rainier, valleys and a cold stream on the right. This is the scarce variation with a different printer's bug in the lower right - this one has LITHO. IN U.S.A. - WESTERN LITHO CO. LOS ANGELES 451. The 451 meant it was printed in April of 1951. Label is in good-fair condition BECAUSE IT HAS TWO FOLDS & A WATERSTAIN - see photos. Label is sold AS IS so look carefully before you bid. I will combine shipping on auctions.
