Description: Designed and created by Seattle Artist Dick Libby. One of a kind. A vintage mixed media piece from an iconic Pacific Northwest artist. Libby creates assemblages out of salvaged parts. This one is carved wood and stamped metal hardware. "Valley Forge G.W." is stamped on the wing, and "1777" on the breastplate. The tailfeathers are delightfully curved metal. The metal looks like copper but I can't be sure. Measures 14" bill to tail and about 7" top to bottom. 3/4-1" thickness.Signed "D Libby" in ink on the back and stamped "Dick Libby Languid Decadence Artworks, Seattle WA."Small wire on the back for hanging.Definitely one of a kind. Whimsical folk art from one of the Northwest's finest.Free priority shipping.
