Description: Circa 1930's platinum age comic strip cut out stamps. Hand made blue cardstock cover, lined paper pages with color "comic stamp" cutouts glued down and grouped by comic. All feature portraits of the characters of each comic. Bringing up Father (3), Gasoline Alley (42), Little Orphan Annie (44) all numbered, The Katzies (27), Tillie the Toiler (33) Mut & Jeff (42), Thimble Theatre including several Popeye (41) a few single unidentified stamps. These stamps or cards were published in Sunday papers and meant to be cut out and collected, some are numbered total of 44 pages most glued to both sides. Stamp size ranges from 1.5" x 2" to 1" sq., book size is 6.75" x 5" wear to cover, age toning edge wear to pages
