The Cuban Poster Gallery appreciates your business! OUR PRICE FOR THIS POSTER AND MAGAZINE IS $249 Here's your chance to own an original Cuban anti-American propaganda poster, titled (in English and Spanish) WHO ASSASSINATES THE THIRD WORLD LEADERS? -- and the Cuban magazine that featured this poster on its cover. The rarely seen 68-page magazine offers commentaries (in Spanish) on the assassinations of 25 world leaders, including Martin Luther King, Patricio Lumumba, Salvador Allende and Malcolm X. The poster, designed by Rafael Enriquez in 2006, shows an image of a dark suited man holding a dagger behind his back. The initials CIA and FBI appear on the dagger. This glossy offset poster was printed and distributed by the Havana-based Organization of Solidarity of the People of Asia, Africa & Latin America (OSPAAAL). Though it was designed in 2006, this poster has a biting Cold War-era message. The name of the artist and OSPAAAL logo are printed on the poster. The poster -- a gem for collectors of propaganda poster art -- measures 18 by 26 inches (45 by 66 cm). As mentioned above, in addition to this poster, you will also receive a hard-to-find copy of the 2006 edition of TRICONTINENTAL magazine that featured the anti-FBI/CIA poster on its cover. Please see the last five file photos we have posted for a glimpse of the 68-page, Spanish-language magazine, including its front and back covers. The magazine offers commentaries (with photos) on the assassinations of 25 world leaders. OSPAAAL, the Havana organization that printed both the poster and magazine, closed its doors in June 2019 after a long run as a publisher of imaginative Cuban poster art. OSPAAAL posters can be found in museum and gallery collections worldwide, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Library of Congress in Washington D.C., as well as in numerous books about Cuban graphic art. Since we have several copies in our stock, we have posted sample images of both the poster and magazine. The poster you will receive will be in good overall condition with only minor imperfections (present in many Cuban posters). The magazine is in good/fair overall condition with some wear showing mainly on the covers. Please be assured that we will send you the best copies of the poster and magazine in our stock.
