When they look good, and have good history, we sometimes take a chance, without knowing what we are buying. This is one of those situations. In this case, is was previously owned by Boehme (one of the specialist Chinese Antique Shops in Victoria in the late 1900's). This painting was given as a present by the Boehme family in 2004. I can't read Chinese seal on this painting, and I have no idea who the artist is. I think it is worth a very close look. The frame is about 49 1/4 x 13 5/8 inches.The ebay rate calculator assumes this will be sent in the frame as shown. Canadapost determines its mail rates based on the package volume and weight. If you want this item sent without the frame, the package will be much smaller and lighter, and will cost less to ship.The wood frame may have a few marks or dings. Small amount of worm damage on left side in a 2cm square area as shown in the picture with the arrow.
