Description: This delightful painted pine armoire still maintains the quality and details of the original hand-painted finish with background tones of soft blue and teal.Note in the crown/bonnet the date of 1835 with names underneath.Notice the 4 panels of flowers in vases on the front doors are accented by additional flowers along the canted sides. The interior is divided with hanging pegs on the right and 4 shelves (the shortest at the curved top).The left door is held in place with the original interior iron latch; the right door secures with a metal snap that was recently added. There is no knob on the doors.This painted two-door armoire has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready to use.
