Ulbricht is remembered as a pioneer in Wisconsin art. Artist and Educator, WPA organizer. Born in Milwaukee, formally studied in Wisconsin and New York. Spent time at Ox-Bow Saugatuck, Michigan. Member of the Wisconsin Painters & Sculptors.
