Description: Wow, another find from our little box left to us by Nadine Sanford, wife of Harry Sanford, originator of the AutoMag, automag, AMT, IAI, TDE, etc. One of the most famous gun manufacturers of the 20 century. Our grandfather, Harry Sanford made the first semi-automatic .44 magnum and an innovator in stainless steel guns. He then made the smallest .380, a line of stainless 1911’s and many other firsts. After a bankruptcy with the .44 AutoMag…(they cost more to make that they could be sold for) he bought the equipment again and started AMT. 30 years of production of some very wonderful guns. Here are the two original stock certificates, one to our grandfather and one to our grandmother, both signed by our grandfather, Harry W. Sanford in pen. These are the originals and there are no other copies. We also found and are including a stock certificate to Harry Sanford for Eaton Supply Incorporated. A little research shows that his was a company our grandfather owned that made and marketed high capacity magazines for the 10/22 Ruger knock off that AMT produced called the Magnum Hunter. Also original, but do not know if there is another because it is marked #2. Signed by someone we do not know. So, a little history and something no one else that collects AMT will ever have. Signed by the guy who invented and made the guns in the company he developed and ran until he passed away. Two of them to Harry William Sanford and one to Nadine Helen Sanford. Done in 1981.
